Library - Postgraduate Room
Redesigning the postgraduate study room in Teesside University's library was a competition between different groups, 'Instinctive Design' was the name of our group. we had to present it to two members of the head of library and the module's lecturer.
Our initial ideas stemmed from inspirational images and fabric we put together at the start of the design process, we came up with individual mood boards in order to help distinguish our final theme. This is when we planted the seed to create a design based on our ideas, this design theme is ' Roof top Garden'
Shisha BAR
Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, or MIMA, is a contemporary art gallery based in the center of Middlesbrough, England. This project was based on my knowledge on building regulations and how I can apply to them to a commercial. residential building design.
The balcony located on the 3rd floor is the most underused part of the building. Taking advantage of the view out the balcony, I designed an outdoor Shisha bar on ArchiCAD using building regulation.
Art Studio
This Project was about transferring my skills on Auto-CAD to 3Ds Max. This project briefing was to redesign the digital studio at Teesside University, to an art studio space. Using 3Ds Max to redesign this pace is Interesting because it allows you to play with materials making them look realistic.
Having the flooring Laminated adds a sense of high quality to the interior. while having white furniture compliments the glossy the flooring. The conclusion that can be drawn from this project is that I definitely developed my Photoshop skills as well as learning how to use 3Ds Max.
